Why FRP works for roof sheets
Translucent reinforced sheets
Glass fibres reinforce the resin sheet while a suitable translucent formulation allows light through. Resin, reinforcement, colour and sheet weight influence the daylighting result.
Corrugation increases bending stiffness
Corrugation adds depth to a thin sheet, improving its resistance to bending across its designed span. Appropriate resin and surface protection help address weather and corrosion exposure.
What to specify: Confirm the profile, support spacing, wind loads, fastenings, UV protection and required fire classification. Light transmission and strength are product-specific.
