Why FRP works for doors

Moisture-resistant door skins

An appropriately manufactured FRP skin provides a useful barrier for doors in moisture-prone settings. The core, sealed edges and frame remain part of the overall moisture design.

Sandwich panel stiffness

Bonding FRP skins around a suitable core creates a sandwich panel: the separated skins help resist bending while the core supports them. Moulds reproduce panel patterns and textures.

What to specify: Agree the core, skin thickness, edge sealing, hardware supports and finish. Fire or acoustic performance requires a tested complete door assembly.
