About this product

Mould Release Agent is intended to form a release film between the mould surface and cured composite, helping reduce sticking and surface damage during demolding. Select the release chemistry and application method according to the mold material and resin system.

Applications

FRP molds; polyester composites; vinyl ester composites; epoxy composites; tooling and prototype molds

Supports easy demolding; protects mold surface; can reduce part sticking; suitable for repeated composite molding when properly applied

Recommended use

Clean and prepare the mold, apply a uniform release layer, and follow the product-specific drying or polishing procedure.

Not recommended for

Not a substitute for mold sealer on highly porous tooling unless specifically specified.

Handling and safety

Use appropriate PPE and good ventilation. Follow the current manufacturer TDS/SDS for handling, storage, mixing, and disposal. Keep containers closed and away from incompatible materials and ignition sources where applicable.
