LY-556 is a liquid epoxy resin grade widely used with compatible amine hardeners for composite fabrication, casting, and bonding. It provides a versatile thermoset matrix for glass fiber and other reinforcement systems. Exact viscosity, epoxy equivalent, and mix ratio should be taken from the current product TDS.

Recommended use

Not recommended for
Not recommended for peroxide-cured polyester processing; do not substitute curing agents without formulation validation.
Handling and safety
Use appropriate PPE and good ventilation. Follow the current manufacturer TDS/SDS for handling, storage, mixing, and disposal. Keep containers closed and away from incompatible materials and ignition sources where applicable.
